In this workshop, you'll learn the basic fundamentals of traditional pointed pen calligraphy, including how to use nibs and ink, stroke patterns and shapes, letterforms, and layout. Small class size will allow the instructor to have lots of one-on-one instruction and attention to each attendee. Along with a workbook, all supplies are included for you to use and keep after the workshop to further your practice and love of lettering!

Leah Sachs, owner of Leah E. Moss Designs, is a full-time calligrapher and stationery designer based in Royal Oak, Michigan. She specializes in traditional script styles, often with applications for weddings and special events. As a board member of the Michigan Association of Calligraphers, she's active in the local lettering community and loves sharing this artform with others through teaching.
